Anna was from Germany. Thelma’s parents were William J. Franke (son of Henry Franke and Wilhelmina Kruse) and Edith Ranye/Ranje (daughter of Henry Ranje and Marie Pressler), both children of German immigrants.
Alela’s paternal grandmother was Halga Deann Johnson, daughter of George F. Johnson and Leona Lyden Lane (daughter of Ralph D. Lane and Halga/Helga G. Johnson). Ralph was the son of English immigrants A. J. Lane and Margret. Halga was the daughter of Norwegian immigrants Hans A. Johnson and Mary.
Alela’s maternal grandparents are David Wesley Chonette (son of William Cantwell Chonette and Ferol Hickey) and Suzanne Radford (daughter of Marian Isabel).
