Greta Van Susteren is an American commentator and television anchor on Fox News. Her father was of one half Dutch, one quarter German, and one quarter Luxembourgian, descent. Her mother was of Irish ancestry.
Greta’s paternal grandparents were Henri Boneventura van Susteren (the son of Jacobus Gerhard van Susteren and Mary Hocks/Hoks) and Mary Ann Blindauer (the daughter of Peter Blindauer and Susanne Gonnering). Henri was born in Wisconsin, to Dutch parents. Mary Blindauer was born in Wisconsin, to a German father and a Luxembourgian mother.
Greta’s maternal grandparents were Michael Patrick Conway (the son of Patrick Conway and Bridget Quinn) and Elizabeth Delaney (the daughter of Charles Delaney and Margaret Mulaney). Michael and Elizabeth were both of Irish descent.
