Alex Katunich is an American musician. He is known for being the former bassist of alternative rock band Incubus. He is the son of George Cornell Katunich and Linda Kay Faver. His surname, Katunich, is of Croatian origin.
Alex’s maternal grandfather was Thomas Jefferson Faver (the son of Gaines Rudolph Faver and Willie Lee Knight). Gaines was the son of Thomas Bedford Faver and Mary Ann Goldsmith. Willie was the daughter of James William Knight and Leura Viola Morris.
Alex’s maternal grandmother was Hilda Gene Carson (the daughter of Cluff Carson and Carrie Laverna Griffith). Cluff was the son of John Franklin Carson and Harriet Lee “Hattie” Davis. Carrie was the daughter of John David Griffith and Amanda Rosalie Kennedy.
