Carol Forman was an American actress. She was known for playing villains, perhaps most prominently as Sombra, the title character in the movie serial The Black Widow (1947). She also played the Spider Lady in the Superman serial in 1948.
Carol was the eldest of two daughters of Annabelle and Edward Dial Sawls, a carpenter. She was married to William Dennis, until his death.
