In New Brunswick, he has been Leader of the New Brunswick New Democratic Party, from 2 March, 2011 to 1 January, 2017, Minister of Education and Early Childhood Development, from 9 November, 2018 to 13 October, 2022; as well as chief of staff to the Progressive Conservative Party of New Brunswick caucus.
He moved to Fredericton, New Brunswick, Canada, as a child.
Dominic’s maternal grandfather was surnamed Costelloe.
